‘Life in a Day’ Trailer

Last summer, people from around the world filmed themselves going through their daily lives and put the videos on YouTube. Director Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland, State of Play) and producers Tony and Ridley Scott then went ahead and made a movie out of those videos, editing them together to show a snap shot of the world on one single day. In doing so they’ve created a film that needs to be seen to be believed.
Life In A Day had its world premiere live on YouTube and at the Sundance Film Festival becoming one of my favorite movies there. And though its difficult to put into words the incredible variety of people, emotions, experiences, visuals and more that are portrayed, this trailer does the trick. Check it out after the break.
Here’s the Life In A Day trailer from its own YouTube channel. The film is scheduled to open on July 24, 2011, exactly one year to the day after people filmed themselves in the movie.
If you’d like to know more about this film, feel free to read my review. But I think it’s pretty obvious from the trailer that this movie is very special; an experiment by the Scott brothers that worked out really well.
My one problem with the movie is that very few characters reappear in the film. We meet someone, are totally and utterly taken in and intrigued by them, and then we never see them ever again. It’s kind of frustrating. A few characters do come back but, as it’s only one day, we never learn too much. We just see what a day in their life might be like. And while that’s compelling, it’s hard not to want more.
Still, that’s a minor complaint for this beautiful movie. Check it out when you can.

Heidi the opossum – The Trailer
April 22nd, 2011A tribute to Germanys coolest opossum. A new addition to the Leipzig Zoo has yet to be seen by the public, but that hasn’t stopped her from becoming a star. Heidi, a young cross-eyed opossum, is shaping up to be the most popular furry critter in Germany since Knut the celebrity polar bear. She won’t be visible to the public until July, but a cross-eyed opossum has turned into Germany’s new media darling. The reason for Heidi’s crossed eyes is unclear, but zoo officials speculate that it might be because of fat deposits behind her eyes, caused by a bad diet early in life. The eyes might look off, but they cause the animal no pain, and don’t affect her ability to get around, according to the zoo. She is, aside from her looks, a normal opossum. Hot news! Officials at Leipzig Zoo, where Heidi lives, say she will appear on the “Jimmy Kimmel Show” on the US network ABC on Oscars night.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (PSP) trailer [High Quality]
April 21st, 2011In the game Kingdom Hearts 2 it shows only the beginning of the Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep for PSP teaser trailer(or someone call that KH2 secret ending), however, it shows the rest of the teaser trailer in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. So I finally able to download high quality of both parts of the trailer and put them together to become a full trailer. unfortunately I can’t find the english version of the second part of the trailer so I needed to put translation on it. well apparently it’s not that high definition after i uploaded it but it still good enough. enjoy PS For those people who have messaged me I apologize that I haven’t check my YouTube e-mail for almost 2 years. To reply all those messages, no I still don’t have a chance to play this game, I just happen to come across the trailers and I had an interest in it, I couldn’t remember where I downloaded the HD clips and can’t remember where I placed the files since I switch to my new laptop. Therefore I have no info about this game. Thx for the messages for the correction of the trailer title, when the trailer was first out no one knows what was it for, and I just left it here and didn’t even look at it again.
